FlowEye Privacy Policy

1. Overview

FlowEye is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal face data from your device. Camera processing happens entirely on your iPhone.

2. Face Data and Camera Processing

FlowEye uses your iPhone's front-facing camera exclusively to process face landmarks on-device for eye care features. The app may temporarily process camera frames and derived facial landmarks in device memory to estimate blink rate, eye openness, approximate gaze direction, device distance/posture alerts, rest timer completion, and guided exercise completion.

FlowEye does not record, save, retain, upload, or share video frames, photos, facial landmarks, face geometry, face templates, or face identity data. Face data is processed only in real time while you are actively using the Eye Care, Exercise, or Rest features, and is discarded immediately after each frame is analyzed.

FlowEye does not use face data for identification, authentication, advertising, user profiling, emotion recognition, or tracking across apps or websites.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

No video or images
No stored face data, face landmarks, face templates, or face identity data
No location data
No advertising identifiers (IDFA)
No analytics or usage telemetry
No crash reports sent to third parties
No health data synced to external servers

4. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your iPhone and is never transmitted:

Eye session records — duration, blink count, strain score, rest count, and posture alert count (stored in Core Data / SQLite). These records are summary values only and do not include images, video, facial landmarks, or face templates.
App settings — reminder intervals, notification preferences (stored in UserDefaults)
Account info (optional) — your Sign in with Apple user ID or email address, used only to identify your account locally. No backend server stores this data.
Purchase status — whether you have purchased FlowEye Pro (stored in UserDefaults and verified via Apple StoreKit 2)

5. In-App Purchases

FlowEye Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. FlowEye never receives or processes your payment information. All purchase verification is performed through Apple's StoreKit 2 framework.

6. Third-Party SDKs

Google MediaPipe Tasks Vision — a bundled on-device library used for face landmark processing. It runs locally on your device. No camera frames, face data, facial landmarks, or user data are sent to Google.
Apple StoreKit 2 — communicates with Apple servers only for purchase verification.
Apple AuthenticationServices — Sign in with Apple is managed by Apple's own privacy framework.

7. Third-Party AI Services

FlowEye does not send user data, camera frames, face data, facial landmarks, eye care metrics, or health-related information to any third-party AI service. All camera-based analysis is performed locally on the device.

8. Children's Privacy

FlowEye is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

9. Data Deletion

To delete all data stored by FlowEye, simply delete the app from your iPhone. Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → FlowEye → Delete App.

10. Medical Disclaimer

FlowEye is a wellness and habit-tracking app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Please consult a doctor or qualified eye care professional in addition to using this app and before making any medical decisions.
